Which Country Will Host the World Cup 2022?

The first country to qualify for the 2022 World Cup was Qatar, which secured a berth in December 2010 after winning the bidding process. Since then, the country has made significant investments in their national team. It was ranked 112th when awarded the tournament, but has climbed into the top 50 FIFA rankings. In fact, the team recently beat Japan in the Asian Cup final. As a result, the nation has a good shot of hosting the 2022 World Championship.

If the United States is the next nation to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, they will join the top seven teams in FIFA’s world rankings. If the country fails to do so, it will join the next six countries in the FIFA World Rankings. This means that the U.S. is the least likely candidate to host the tournament. However, the United States will be in the final, and they have the highest number of points among all 32 teams.

While the World Cup 2018 has already ended, the bid for the 2022 World Cup is still going strong. Indonesia’s bid to host the tournament ended on 19 March 2010. The combined bid was confirmed on 20 December 2008 and 22 January 2009, and the country is now one of the favorites to host the tournament. In the wake of a scandal surrounding the bidding process, FIFA suspended officials Amos Adamu and Reynald Temarii, the men who were awarded runner-up awards.

The draw for the World Cup is scheduled for 1 April 2022 in Doha, Qatar. The winners of the inter-confederation play-offs will be determined in March. So the first question is: Which country will host the 2022 World? With the final draw in Doha, Qatar, the US will be in the top seven and the second and third pots will be made up of the remaining eight teams.

The decision to give the tournament to Qatar was a mistake. Australia now wants compensation from the World Cup after its unsuccessful bid. Meanwhile, Premier League chief Richard Scudamore threatened to sue the UAE and Qatar’s bid in November and December. The Australian government is now considering legal action. If Qatar wins the World’s hosting, the United Arab Emirates will get the World Cup points. The decision will have a big impact on the 2022 FIFA World Championship.

The US, Canada, and France will be among the most-qualified countries for the tournament. As the host nation, France will be the third team to qualify automatically for the tournament. The other two countries are the Netherlands and Norway. The US want to return to the World Cup after missing the last one in 2018. When they qualify, they will receive an automatic spot in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
